As you may have heard Anne and Julia are anticipating hanging up their rotary cutters and scissors in March 2013, making this their last full workshop list. If there are any particular workshops that anyone would like us to arrange, we will run a shortened list from September to December 2012.

We would like to welcome back Dot Carter as one of our tutors, so along with Sarah O’Hora and Vinnie Cable we now have three quarters of the Kindred Spirits Textile Art group as tutors – always a good recommendation. Penny Armitage is leading the Quilter’s Guild Textile Art group for the South West – so hopefully this workshop list will have something for everyone.

Each Saturday workshop will run from 10am to 4pm. Please arrive at 9.30 to settle in and have a cup of tea or coffee. You will be provided with tea, coffee and biscuits throughout the day, and usually cake with afternoon tea, but you will need to bring a packed lunch, or we can send out an order for sandwiches.

Please bring your own sewing machine, cleaned and with a new needle, ready for use. There are a limited number of irons available, so if you can bring an iron with you, it would be to your advantage. Please also bring rotary cutting equipment where applicable.

Two weeks before the date of any workshop an ‘ingredients’ list will be sent out – some workshops have kits included in the price.

When you book a workshop you will be required to pay in full at time of booking to secure your place. Should you have to cancel, and if another person can be found to take your place, you will receive a full refund. We will require a minimum of three days notice of cancellation, prior to the date of a workshop, otherwise a refund cannot be considered. ALL WORKSHOPS MUST BE PAID FOR IN FULL AT TIME OF BOOKING. SHOULD YOU NEED TO CANCEL WE WILL ENDEAVOUR TO REFUND YOUR FEE, IF WE CAN ‘RE-SELL’ YOUR PLACE.

ALL WORKSHOPS RUN FROM 9.30am FOR A PROMPT 10am START UNTIL 4pm.
